Former Block Pramukh, nephew murdered

ASP Ratan Kant Pandey said that the body of Nihal Singh, who was also an ex-Congress district unit president, and that of his nephew Netrapal, were recovered from a field.

The killers had poured acid on their to faces in order to possibly hide the identities of the deceased, he said.

Singh was travelling to Haridwar via Delhi by train in connection with a land deal yesterday, he said.
