Four persons axed to death in Jharkhand village

"The details of the incident has not yet reached. The accused, Ilyas Gope, has surrendered with the axe in the CRPF camp in Lodai following the incident," Superintendent of Police (West Singhbhum) Pankaj Kamboj said.

As per the preliminary report, Gope axed his wife and two minor sons (aged two and six years) to death, he said, adding that a neighbour, who rushed to the rescue of the children, was also among the victims.
