Gold worth Rs 4.5 cr seized

Customs officials at the airport here have seized Rs 4.5 crore worth gold from three persons, in two instances, officials said today.
The Air Intelligence Unit of Customs Department seized 5.5 kg of gold from a couple who arrived from Muscat this morning, they said.
The officials had last night seized four kg of gold from a passenger arrived from Singapore. The yellow metal was found in his hand baggage, they said.
