As per amendment, the rules will be known as the Haryana Value Added Tax (Second Amendment) Rules, 2014, said an official release.
In the amendment of rule for approval of refund above Rs 25 lakh, the committee would comprise three senior most Additional Excise and Taxation Commissioners from department's side posted at the Headquarters and the Joint Excise and Taxation Commissioner (Taxation) would be the member Secretary.
For approval of refund above Rs 10 lakh and up to Rs 25 lakh, the committee will comprise the concerned Joint Excise and Taxation Commissioner (Range) as the Chairman while two Deputy Excise and Taxation Commissioner (DET) will be as members , it said.
For approval of refund up to Rs 10 lakh, Deputy Excise and Taxation Commissioner (Sale Tax) of the district concerned would be the Chairman of the committee. The two ETOs will be its members.
