Haryana youth found murdered in Himachal

A Haryana youth working as a farm labourer in Sirmaur district of Himachal Pradesh was found murdered in his room today.
According to additional SP of Sirmaur N S Negi, the body of Ranbir, a resident of Nijampur village in Haryana's Khidrabad, was recovered from his room in Kunja Matralion village near Paonta town of the district this morning after locals informed police.
He said the body bore several injury marks of sharp-edged weapon around his neck, and the police have registered a case of murder under section 302 of IPC and started investigation.
As per information, the youth was employed in a local farm house as labourer and was residing with a fellow labourer in a room provided to him by the owner of the farm house in village Kunja Matralion, close to Yamuna River.
Police have sent his body for post-mortem and his fellow labourer, believed to be a resident of Haryana, is absconding, said Paonta police station SHO Bhishm Thakur.
