"This is to inform that the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for November 2016 (Provisional) and October, 2016 (Final) would be released on December 13, 2016 as the Milad-Un-Nabi or Id-E-Milad holiday has been decided on December 12, 2016 in place of December 13, 2016," Statistics Ministry said in a press statement.
The Central Statistics Office (CSO) will release the Index of Industrial Production data today instead of the earlier schedule on December 12, 2016.
The two micro economic short-term data is evaluated by many government departments as well as Reserve Bank of India while taking call on issues like changes in monetary and fiscal policies from time to time.
