The International India Rubber Expo 2017, organised by All India Rubber Industries Association, would be held from January 19 to 21 at the Chennai Trade Centre.
Nearly 400 companies from various countries, including China, Germany, Japan, Korea and Malaysia, were expected to take part in the meet, IIRE 2017 Chairman, K T Thomas said in a statement.
During the event, a Reverse Buyer Seller Meet has been planned to be conducted for the first time that would enable rubber product manufacturers to have interactions with large domestic buyers of rubber products, IIRE, Chief Convenor Vinod T Simon said.
