About 55 per cent Indian professionals are confident talking about their achievements - higher than professionals in Singapore (31 per cent) and Australia (32 per cent) and also the global average of 35 per cent, LinkedIn's new study 'Your Story @ Work' has revealed.
It said 76 per cent consider social professional networks as the best platform to express their professional successes.

Moreover, over eight out of every 10 (85 per cent) of recruitment decision makers have revealed that they analyse potential candidates based on their online profile on professional networks.
In the area of recruitment, over nine out of 10 (92 per cent) of recruitment decision makers cited 'clear communication of achievements' as one of the most important aspects they look for in candidates, it added.
The same number stated that an online professional profile should give them a sense of candidate personalities, additionally 71 per cent of these recruitment decision makers agree that an empty or sparse profile makes them less likely to consider a candidate for a job, it added.
With social recruiting gaining even more importance in the eyes of recruiters, recruitment decision makers (66 per cent) judge candidates based on their online presence, it said.
It is, therefore, important for Indian professionals to keep their profiles updated with their work and professional achievements, it added.
