An Iranian man, whose legs were blown off in an alleged failed bomb plot last year in Central Bangkok against Israeli diplomats, today told a Court here that he had found the explosives in his rented house and and was trying to dispose off when they detonated.
Saeid Moradi, 29, said he had found four bombs hidden inside a cupboard at his rented house.
Two bombs exploded as he ran outside to throw them into a nearby canal, the second one blowing off his legs, Moradi, who was in a wheel chair said.
Moradi and Mohammad Khazaei, 42, are among five Iranians suspected of involvement in the February 14, 2012 triple bomb explosions that followed attacks in India and Georgia.
Moradi added that another bomb had accidentally exploded in the house in Bangkok's Sukhumvit road area.
He did not say what happened to the fourth device.
Prosecutors have accused Moradi of throwing one bomb at a taxi and a second at two police officers but which accidentalky exploded near his legs.
