The First Lady, who has been ailing for some time, passed away this morning at the Army Research and Referral Hospital in the national capital.
"I convey my condolences to the President over the sad demise of his life's companion and pray that Almighty gives him courage to bear the irreparable loss," he said.
Paying rich tributes, the Chief Minister described Suvra as a creative artist, writer and painter, who lived a very active life and contributed immensely towards promotion of art and literature.
