J-K: Fire breaks out in mosque, one injured

The blaze erupted late yesterday in the third storey of Jamia Masjid at Tangmarg, around 45 kilometres from here, a police spokesman said.

A constable Manzoor Ahmad was injured when a police party was trying to douse the flames, he said, adding that the fire was brought under control within an hour.

Cause of the fire was not known immediately.
