threatened with death by six people while supervising the filling of a ditch at Yamunagarh in Bihar's Siwan district.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Satya Narayan Kumar said Singh, who represents Barharia assembly constituency, was supervising the filling of the ditch near a religious place when the six threatened to kill him if he went ahead with the work.
Two of those who threatened him were identified Daud Khan and Pyare Khan, he said.
A complaint was lodged with the police by the MLA against the six, including the two identified, and an investigation into the case is on, he added.
