The 42-year-old singer-actress is reportedly ready for a fourth trip down the aisle after parting ways with husband Marc Anthony last July, reported Us magazine.
"She is telling friends she wants to marry Casper. She is certain she wants to be with Casper forever. He exists only for her. Marc controlled her, and now she is in control," a source said.
Lopez recently announced her upcoming world tour with Enrique Iglesias and said that Smart, 25, will play a vital role in putting the show together.
"I am working with [choreographer] Jamie King, and also Casper Smart. It is going to be an amazing, amazing show," Lopez said.
The latino has previously been married to restaurant waiter Ojani Noa and former backing dancer Chris Judd.
