The company's net profit in the corresponding quarter of last fiscal was Rs 34.36 crore, KEC International said in a filing to the BSE.
The company's total income from operations rose to Rs 2,521.09 crore from Rs 2,175.87 crore in the year-ago period, it added.
Commenting on the result, the company's MD and CEO Vimal Kejriwal said: "We are happy that our revenue and margins are improving on the expected lines. With new order wins in Uganda and Georgia we have consolidated our presence in Africa and CIS region."
"Our Q4 order intake of Rs 3,820 crore along with the new order win... Gives us good visibility and confidence of a significant improvement in our performance during the current financial year," Kejriwal said.
