Kidnapped man rescued, two held

Police have rescued a man from Karnataka and arrested two persons who had allegedly kidnapped him, an official said here today.
Atul Salvi, husband of a journalist here, was abducted on May 8 over a financial dispute, said assistant police inspector Sahebrao Barve.
He said the duo had threatened to kill Salvi if his family members did not return Rs 4 lakh they had allegedly given to him.
Salvi was rescued from Hirsave village in Channapatna last night, Barve said.
The accused have been booked under various sections of IPC for abduction.
