The court extended the custody of the police officials after they appeared before it through a video link.
No decision could be made on taking the voice samples of the accused and the matter was also deferred till December 19 as no advocate of the accused party appeared in the court.
The case relates to the custodial death of Suraj Singh, one of the six accused in the rape-and-murder case of the 16- year-old girl.
Singh, a 29-year-old labourer from Nepal, was killed allegedly by another accused in the rape-and-murder case at Kotkhai police station on the night of July 18-19, triggering a massive public outrage.
The nine policemen, including an IG-rank officer, were arrested by the CBI in connection with the custodial death.
The CBI has filed a chargesheet against the IG-rank officer, Z H Zaidi, and seven others. An additional charge- sheet would be filed against Superintendent of Police D W Negi, who was arrested on November 16 in connection with the custodial death.
The CBI chargesheet has said Singh died due to severe torture.
The girl, a Class X student, had gone missing on July 4 and her naked body was recovered from Haliala forests in Kotkhai on July 6.
