"BJP activists are celebrating this announcement as if he has become the Chief Minister. Let us wait and see. During his tenure as Chief Minister he had sowed the seeds of corruption," Kumaraswamy told reporters here.
He said the BJP had no right to talk about corruption and the public would judge on the decision of the appointment.
Kumaraswamy also alleged that Congress government in the state had done nothing to solve problems like drought and power shortage.
He said the agriculture sector had been in a pathetic condition in the last two years and the state government was not giving enough encouragement to farmers.
Kumaraswamy said he was doubtful that the newly formed Anti-Corruption Bureau would help check corruption by bureaucrats.
