Madhopur-Beas link canal to remain closed for maintenance

The canal will remain close from October 15 to November 7, the spokesperson of the Irrigation Department said.

A notification in this regard under rule 63 of Northern India Canal and Drainage Act, 1873 (Act VIII of 1873) has been issued, the official said.
