Man arrested with fake currency

Mohammad Younus Dar, a resident of Khaigam village, was arrested by a police party during vehicle checking at Pakherpora, 35 kms from here, a police spokesman said.

Fake currency with a face value of Rs 5,000 was recovered from the possession of Dar, he said.

A case has been registered and further investigations are on, the spokesman added.
