Man crushed to death between platform and train
Nalliappan, a native of Salem working as a labourer in Mumbai, was rushing to the unreserved compartment of incoming Chennai-Mumbai Kurla Express to get seats for his family when he slipped and fell, police said.
The body was torn to pieces, police said.
His two sons are aged 14 and nine, sources said, adding, his wife is in Mumbai.
