Man held for producing fake documents to get US Visa

A 28-year-old man was held for allegedly producing fake documents to obtain a visa to travel to the United States, the police said today.
Sandeep Kumar hailing from Hyderabad, who had applied for a visa had come to the U S Consulate here for an interview. During verification of the documents, US Consulate officials realised that the documents produced by Kumar were fake, a police release said
A complaint was made at the Royapettah Police Station, who interrogated the suspect and found that all the documents of him claiming to be a employed in a IT firm were also fake.

He was lodged at Puzhal Prison here, the release said.
