Minor girl, woman gang raped in separate incidents in Meerut

A minor girl and a woman were allegedly gang raped by youths in separate incidents here, police said today.
On Friday, a 16-year-old girl was allegedly kidnapped by four youths on gunpoint in Puthi village in the district following which they took her to a jungle and gang raped her, police said. She was found in an unconscious state by her family members yesterday.
Two of the four accused have been identified as Vicky and Dinesh and a case has been registered against them, police said, adding that the girl has been sent for medical examination.
In another incident, on November 20 a woman was allegedly gang raped by three men at Delhi-Dehradun bypass here, police said.

The victim in a complaint to Senior Superintendent of Police, has accused her ex-lover and two of his friends of allegedly gang raping her.
According to the victim, she was in an intimate relationship with the accused nine years ago. Following this, the accused clicked obscene photos of her and made an MMS clip. However, later the police retrieved the clip from the house of the accused's sister.
The woman had lodged a complaint with the police since the man threatened to upload her pictures on the Internet.
No case has been registered against the accused yet, police said.
