Aimed at helping students and professionals in tier-II and III cities, the university has launched select programmes, including Master of Business Administration, through the Android app, a university release said today.
About 2,500 students have already enrolled under the new initiative, it said, adding for online delivery of courses, students can download the Android application from the Avagmah Technology Platform.
"At Pondicherry University, by adoptive technology, we have endeavoured to make quality education accessible to deserving students in far-flung areas who would otherwise have no access to good education," Director, Distance Education, Pondicherry University, Sibnath Deb said.
