"Navjot Sidhu will address media in Delhi on July 25 before going to Mumbai for shooting," Navjot Kaur Sidhu, wife of Navjot Sidhu, told media here.
"He will reveal his reason (about his resignation) to the media. Whatever he has in his mind, he will share with the media," said Sidhu, who is BJP MLA and Chief Parliamentary Secretary.
Dealing a blow to the BJP in Punjab, Navjot Singh Sidhu on July 18 resigned from Rajya Sabha just three months after his nomination by the Modi government, fuelling speculation that he, along with his wife, could join AAP.
On the possibility of Sidhu being projected as the AAP's chief ministerial candidate in the Punjab polls next year, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had commented, "Aisa kuch nahi hai." (There's nothing of that sort yet.)
Punjab Congress chief Amarinder Singh had said Sidhu was welcome to join the party if he so desires.
