"The sooner this status goes, better it would be for the state," BJP state chief Shamsher Singh Mahnas told media here during a function occasion of the 129th birth anniversary of Sher-e-Duggar Prem Nath Dogra.
"It is the root cause of unemployment in the state as no outsider can purchase land and set industry or big plants which can obviously provide jobs to thousands of youth," he claimed.
Manhas appealed to party activists to mobilise public opinion against the special status given to the state.
