The farmers were working in the field yesterday when one of them accidentally fell into a well at Manabira-Talasahi village.
The well was dug up in the field for irrigation purpose. As it was raining heavily, one farmer slipped into the well.
The other two present there attempted to rescue but all of them fell into it, police said.
Fire brigade personnel and police are at the spot still undertaking their operation, they said.
