Three more held in firing incident

Three more persons were today arrested for their alleged involvement in a firing following a brawl at a bar that killed one pedestrian and left two others injured this Wednesday, police said.
One person, in his early 20s was arrested from Sonarpur in South 24 Parganas districts this evening while other two were picked up from of North 24 Parganas, a senior officer of Kolkata police said.
With today's arrest, so far five persons have been arrested in connection with the case, he added.
The incident occurred late on Wednesday night when, when around seven persons got involved in a brawl with authorities of a bar in Haridevpur area in south Kolkata.

The bar authorities informed police to sort out the matter but the cops were outnumbered by the miscreants as they called up their associates, he said.
