Tribals hurl stones at residences of Khunti DC and SP

Laced with traditional weapons, a large number of tribals who staged road blockade with the body of Abraham Munda killed in police firing yesterday, hurled stones at the residence of Deputy Commissioner Chandrasekhar and Superintendent of Police Anish Gupta today, a senior district official said.
They ransacked the gates and broke lights of the residential premises of the DC and SP, Chandrasekhar said.
No one was injured in the incident, the DC said. Adequate police force were called in to maintain law and order, he added.
