ULFA linkman nabbed

Assam's Jorhat district on charges of being an ULFA linkman and fund collector for the proscribed outfit, police said today.

He was identified as Bijoy Doley, Dakhin Ahotguri gaon panchayat president, and was arrested last night at Kamalabari in Majuli island, they said.

Doley was accused of demanding money on behalf of ULFA from Youth Congress Majuli unit's former president Manas Hazarika, police said, adding investigations are on.
