poor financial condition, a 36-year-old woman allegedly committed suicide by setting herself on fire at her residence in Gujaini J block area here.
After locking her three children in a room, Kanti Devi poured kerosene and immolated herself in the kitchen, yesterday, police said.
According to police, Kanti's husband Chandrika Prasad, who worked as a daily wage worker in a jute mill, recently lost his job which created several financial problems for the family.
