Citibank yesterday launched an exclusive shopping bonanza for its credit card-holders in New Delhi called The Great Escape, displaying a whole new idea of marketing innovation in the credit card business.

The shopping bonanza, spread over the weekend, is aimed at providing the banks 2,00,000 card-holders a-one-stop-shop.

The Citibank card-holders are entitled to bargains for purchases made and take home free gifts too. The bank has over 5,000 member establishments in the city.

David Conner, Citibank India chief executive, said the bank believes in customer service, innovation and technology, adding customer services means adding convenience to peoples lives.

According to Kurt Schneiber, Citibanks business manager, cards division, The Great Escape is a perfect example of the synergy that Citibank brings to its member establishment and card members.

While member establishments get the opportunity to sell to quality-conscious individuals, card members are able to buy a range of goods at unmatchable prices. Citibank is delighted to bring the two together.
