Cyberspace Infosys, formerly Century International Finance, is negotiating to acquire a software company in US for $ 10 million. According to Arvind Johari, director of the company, the acquisition will be a combination of stock and cash. The company is expected to have IBM as its strategic partner. The company has also set up a joint venture with UP government for a software technology park. The Rs 9 crore project has Rs 3 crore equity and Rs 6 crore of debt funding. The company has invested for 74 per cent of the equity in the new venture, Cybertron Tech and the rest is held by the UP government.
