At the auction of the 91-day T-bills held by the Reserve Bank of India yesterday, bids for a total amount of Rs 975.64 crore were received against a notified amount of Rs 500 crore. The total number of bids received were 31, of which 28 were in the competitive category and 3 in the non-competitive category. Of these, 17 competitive bids and the three non-competitive bids were accepted. 6 bids were partially accepted. The competitive bids accepted were for a total of Rs 303.96 crore, of which Rs 133.96 crore were partially accepted. The non-competitive bids accepted were for a total of Rs 196.04 crore. The cut-off price for the bids was Rs 97.55 and the percentage of partial allotment was 65.35. The weighted average price was Rs 97.56.
The RBI has announced the auction of 364-day T-bills on October 23 and tenders for the same will be received until 1430 hours.
