About 35 Indian companies will participate in Softworld 97, an international computer software meet to be held in Vancouver, Canada, this year. R H Naqvi, executive director of Electronics & Computer Software Export Promotion Council, said yesterday that India has been conferred the status of `global partner with Canada for the meet. A unique feature of Softworld 97 is `Cyber Showcase a listing of all the participating companies on an Internet site in Canada which is expected to facilitate interaction among the companies.
