HP BPO India sees two top exits in succession

HP Global e-Business Operations Pvt Ltd (HP BPO India) has seen two top level exits in a period of two months.
 
After Amit Soni, Head "� operations (finance & accounting), Hewlett Packard BPO, quit during November, another top manager manning the HR function, Karthik Selvaraj, quit during last week.
 
While Soni has moved to join Tesco Hindustan Service Centre as head of finance services, Karthik Selvaraj, HR operations manager at HP BPO India, is expected to join 24/7Customer, an independent third party BPO services provider.
 
A spokesperson for HP through email said: "HR in HP is a centralised services function, headed by Zarir Batliwala. Zarir has a vast, diverse team that manages the various HP businesses, including BPO. Karthik was the HR Manager of HP BPO. Karthik's replacement will be announced shortly. BPO's HR operations continue to remain business as usual." 24/7Customer said they would not be able to comment until anyone comes on board.
 
The spokesperson further added that their key employee attrition rate was around 5 per cent, while the overall attrition rate was less than 20 per cent.
 
HP BPO employs around 6,000 people in India with two centres in Bangalore and one in Chennai.
