XL bags Rs 46.8cr BSNL order

Hyderabad-based XL Telecom Limited has received fresh orders valued at Rs 46.8 crore for supply of over 1.7 lakh fixed wireless telephones (FWTs) to state-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL).
 
The order represents 20 per cent of BSNL's annual requirement of handsets.
 
With this, XL Telecom has successfully emerged as one of the largest suppliers of FWT handsets to BSNL in the current financial year, with supplies of more than 53.7 million handsets valued at Rs 142.8 crore, according to a company press release on Monday.
