Sybly Industries Ltd (Sybly Spinning Mills Ltd), the Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh) based polyester yarn manufacturer, has ventured into yarn production using recycled polyester fibre (RPF). Looking at the future growth of this product, the company intends to launch its own brand of polyester yarn made from recycled materials.

Recycled polyester yarn is not only cost effective and of high quality, but it is also considered to environment friendly. Big multinational companies such as Adidas, Nike, Levi's, etc have already started sourcing products made of recycled polyester yarn from India. Giving boost to this product eminent personality like Emma Watson wore gown made of RPY at a Gala Dinner 2016. Similarly, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) team wore jerseys made from recycled materials in recent Indian Premiere League (IPL) cricket matches.

"Manufacturing polyester yarn from recycled fibre may increase margins upto 10 percent in comparison to the use of fresh fibre. Sybly is looking forward to make best of this opportunity," said the company in a BSE filing.
