Pound softens under 1.3500 mark

British Pound saw a sizable correction today, breaking under 1.3500 and currently holds at 1.3471, down 0.36% on the day. A mild downtick was seen in UK equities. Economic calendar was light for the currency pair though it is likely holding on a broad spell of weakness after GBP/USD failed to move above 1.3700 mark in last week.
