Mahindra looks to bolster play in core SUV, electric vehicle segments

Mahindra & Mahindra plans to stick to its strategy of offering premium and differentiated vehicles, comprising internal combustion engine-powered SUVs and electric vehicles, in order to further strengthen its presence in the domestic passenger vehicle segment, according to a top company executive. The Mumbai-based auto major has no immediate plans to introduce CNG and other alternate fuel technologies in its product range as it wants to stick to its core brand identity and cater to a customer base which seeks differentiated products. "Our focus has been ICE and electric, and we are fairly growing in these areas. Mahindra Group on Saturday named its seven-seater electric SUV as XEV 9S. Mahindra Lifespace Q2FY26 results: Total income rises to ₹33 crore

Realty firm Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd has reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 47.91 crore for the second quarter of this fiscal year. The company had posted a net loss of Rs 14.01 crore in the year-ago period. Total income rose to Rs 33.06 crore during July-September period of 2025-26 fiscal from Rs 15.96 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding year, according to a regulatory filing on Friday. Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd's development footprint spans 53.30 million sq ft (saleable area) of completed, ongoing and forthcoming residential projects across seven Indian cities. M&M records 26% growth in overall auto sales to over 120K units in October

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd on Saturday reported a 26 per cent growth in its overall auto sales at 1,20,142 units in October this year. Domestic passenger vehicle sales grew by 31 per cent to 71,624 units in October as compared to 54,504 units in the same month last year, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd (M&M) said in a regulatory filing. Commercial vehicle sales in the domestic market stood at 31,741 units, registering a growth of 14 per cent, it added. "In October, we achieved SUV sales of 71,624 units, a growth of 31 per cent, which is the highest SUV sales we have clocked ever in a month," M&M CEO, Automotive Division, Nalinikanth Gollagunta said. On the farm equipment business front, M&M said total tractor sales in October were at 73,660 units, as against 65,453 units for the same period last year, up 13 per cent. Airbus picks Mahindra Aerostructures to make H125 helicopter main fuselage

Airbus has awarded a contract to Mahindra Aerostructures to manufacture the main fuselage of the H125 helicopters as the aerospace major boosts its Make In India efforts. The latest development comes less than five months after the company awarded the contract to Mahindra Aerostructures Pvt Ltd (MASPL) for manufacturing the main fuselage for H130 helicopters in April. "The production contracts for the H125 and H130 aerostructures to MASPL firmly integrate India into Airbus Helicopters' global value chain, strengthening the country's 'Make in India' initiative," Airbus said in a release on Thursday. Mahindra scouts land for new plant, aims to expand service network
