Mahindra & Mahindra vehicle sales rise 26% to 83,691 units in July

Mahindra & Mahindra on Friday posted a 26 per cent year-on-year increase in total sales at 83,691 units in July, as compared to 66,444 units in the same month last year. In the utility vehicles segment, the Mumbai-based automaker sold 49,871 units in the domestic market, a growth of 20 per cent, as compared to 41,623 units in July last year. "Our SUV growth has been supported by the recent launch of XUV 3XO 'REVX' Series & the commencement of deliveries for Pack two variants of the BE 6 and XEV 9E models, Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) CEO Automotive Division Nalinikanth Gollagunta said. The company said its tractor sales in the domestic market stood at 26,990 units last month, as against 25,587 units in July 2024, a growth of 5 per cent. Mahindra & Mahindra's overall auto sales rise 14% in June at 78,969 units

Mahindra & Mahindra on Tuesday reported a 14 per cent year-on-year increase in its overall auto sales to 78,969 units in June. In the passenger vehicles segment, the company said its utility vehicles sales surged 18 per cent to 47,306 units in the domestic market last month against 40,022 units in the year-ago period, up 18 per cent. Domestic three-wheeler sales stood at 8,454 units, an increase of 37 per cent as compared with 6,180 units in June last year, M&M said in a statement. Total exports increased 1 per cent year-on-year to 2,634 units last month. CCI okays Mahindra's proposal to buy 59% stake in SML Isuzu for ₹555 cr

The Competition Commission of India (CCI) on Tuesday cleared Mahindra & Mahindra's proposed acquisition of a nearly 59 per cent stake in commercial vehicle maker SML Isuzu for Rs 555 crore. Mahindra & Mahindra in April announced the acquisition of a 58.96 per cent stake in SML Isuzu for Rs 555 crore. "The proposed combination relates to acquisition of SML Isuzu Ltd (Target) by Mahindra and Mahindra Limited (acquirer)," CCI said in a release. Mahindra & Mahindra is the flagship company of the Mahindra group. It is engaged in the automotive, farm equipment, agricultural products and services sector, etc. "CCI approves the proposed combination involving acquisition of SML Isuzu Ltd by Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd," the regulator said in a post on X. Mahindra Aerostructures, Aernnova announce $300 mn multi-year contract

Mahindra Group and Spain's Aernnova Aerospace on Tuesday announced a multi-year contract valued at about USD 300 million (over Rs 2,585 crore) for the Indian entity's arm Mahindra Aerostructures Pvt Ltd to manufacture metal sub-assemblies and components for a range of Airbus and Embraer aircraft families. The contract covers the supply to several Aernnova sites in Spain, the UK, Portugal and Brazil, further strengthening a collaboration that began in 2013, Mahindra and Aernnova said in a joint statement. "This partnership with Mahindra will enable Aernnova to reinforce its supply base to secure production ramp-ups in our factories for all our programs, fulfilling our mission to deliver to our customers," Aernnova CEO Ricardo Chocarro said. The company and Airbus have entered into a contract for making the fuselage for H130 helicopters, and the first fuselage is expected to be delivered in the first quarter of 2027. Mahindra & Mahindra's tractor sales surge 34% to 34,934 unit in March

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd on Tuesday said its total tractor sales, including exports, rose 34 per cent year-on-year to 34,934 units in March. The company had sold 26,024 tractors in March 2024, according to a statement. Domestic sales for March 2025 stood at 32,582 units as against 24,276 tractors sold in the same month of last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 34 per cent, M&M Ltd said. Mahindra sales rise 15% to 83,702 units in February, exports at 1,647 units

Mahindra & Mahindra on Saturday said its total sales increased 15 per cent year-on-year to 83,702 units in February. The automaker had sold 72,923 units in February last year. In the utility vehicles segment, the company said it sold 50,420 vehicles in the domestic market, a growth of 19 per cent as compared with 42,401 units in February last year. Exports increased to 3,061 units last month, an increase of 99 per cent over 1,539 units in February 2024. Mahindra bags 30,179 bookings for two new electric models on opening day

Mahindra & Mahindra on Friday said it has secured 30,179 bookings for its two new electric models -- XEV 9e and BE 6. The Mumbai-based auto major claimed the booking number translates to a value of Rs 8,472 crore (at ex-showroom price). The company commenced bookings for the complete lineup of XEV 9e and BE 6 on Friday. "Mahindra Electric Origin SUVs create a new record in EV category by clocking 30,179 Bookings on Day 1 with booking value of ?8,472 crore (at ex-showroom price)," Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra said in a tweet. The split between the XEV 9e and BE 6 is 56 per cent and 44 per cent respectively, the company said. The top-end Pack Three, featuring a 79 kWh battery, accounted for 73 per cent of the total bookings across both brands, it added. The two models are priced between Rs 18.9 lakh and Rs 30.5 lakh (ex-showroom). Electric passenger vehicle sales in India stood at around 1 lakh units last year.
