Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd on Tuesday reported a 48.5 per cent jump in consolidated profit after tax at Rs 5,259.91 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2026, primarily driven by its auto and farm sectors. The company had posted a consolidated profit after tax (PAT) of Rs 3,541.85 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd (M&M) said in a regulatory filing. Consolidated revenue from operations in the fourth quarter stood at Rs 54,891.55 crore, as against Rs 42,585.67 crore in the year-ago period, it added. Total expenses in the quarter under review were higher at Rs 49,615.48 crore, as compared to Rs 39,113.61 crore in the corresponding period of the previous financial year, the company said. For FY26, consolidated PAT was at Rs 18,621.71 crore as compared to Rs 14,073.17 crore in FY25, up 32.32 per cent. Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd on Friday reported a 14 per cent year-on-year growth in total vehicle sales at 94,627 units in April. Domestic passenger vehicle sales last month stood at 56,331 units as against 52,330 units in April 2025, up 8 per cent, Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) said in a regulatory filing. Commercial vehicle sales in the domestic market stood at 23,427 units last month, it added. M&M CEO, Automotive Division, Nalinikanth Gollagunta said the company has started the new fiscal year 2026-27 "on a positive note in April". The company further said its total tractor sales were up 21 per cent at 48,411 units last month, as against 40,054 units in April 2025. Domestic tractor sales in April 2026 were at 46,404 units, as against 38,516 units in the same month last year, a growth of 20 per cent. Non-banking lender Mahindra and Mahindra Financial Services on Friday reported more than doubling of consolidated net for the March quarter at Rs 940 crore. The Mahindra group entity had reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 456 crore in the year-ago period. On a standalone basis, its profit after tax (PAT) for the quarter jumped 55 per cent to Rs 873 crore. Its Chief Executive and Managing Director Raul Rebello said the handsome growth in profit was a result of a multitude of factors on the operation front put in by the company, and not because of low base. The high profit growth was due to factors like keeping funding costs under control, which expanded the net interest margin by 1 per cent to 7.5 per cent, a higher asset growth at 12 per cent, doubling of fee income, and also tighter controls over operating costs and credit costs, he said. Mahindra & Mahindra on Friday said it will increase the prices of its non-electric SUVs and commercial vehicles by up to 2.5 per cent from April 6. The company attributed the latest price hike to a combination of cost escalations. "Mahindra & Mahindra announces an increase in prices of up to 2.5 per cent for its ICE (powered) SUV and CV range, with an average hike of 1.6 per cent across the portfolio," the company said in a statement. This price increase is effective from April 6, it said. For the recently introduced XUV7XO, the price hike is expected to come into effect after the delivery to the first 40,000 price-protected bookings, the company said. Various auto makers including Tata Motors, JSW MG Motor India, BMW, Audi India and Mercedes-Benz have already increased their vehicle prices from April 1 on account of rising input costs.
Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd on Wednesday reported a 29 per cent year-on-year growth in total tractor sales, including exports, at 45,035 units in March. The company had sold 34,934 tractors in March, 2025, M&M Ltd said in a statement. Domestic sales in March 2026 stood at 43,403 units, up 33 per cent year-on-year from 32,582 units in March 2025. However, exports declined 31 per cent to 1,632 units during the month, compared with 2,352 tractors sold in March 2025, it said. A significant part of this high growth was driven by the full Navratri season falling entirely in March, unlike last year when it was split between March and April, said Veejay Nakra, President, Farm Equipment Business, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. On a full financial year basis, the company said, the total tractor sales spiked 24 per cent at 5,26,403 units in FY26 against 4,24,641 tractors.
Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd on Sunday reported an 18 per cent year-on-year growth in overall automobile sales to 97,177 units in February 2026. Utility vehicle sales in the domestic market last month increased 19 per cent to 60,018 units compared to 50,420 units in the year-ago period, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd (M&M) said in a statement. Domestic sales for commercial vehicles stood at 24,585 units last month, a growth of 10 per cent, it added. M&M CEO, Automotive Division, Nalinikanth Gollagunta, said the February performance reflected "robust customer demand across the portfolio". Total exports last month rose 11 per cent to 3,384 units against 3,059 units in February 2025. In another statement, M&M said its total tractor sales surged 34 per cent to 34,133 units in February 2026 against 25,527 units a year earlier.
