Zen Technologies Limited, a Hyderabad-based company that develops training equipment and simulators for weapons and allied defence equipment, has unveiled its combat training centre (CTC), at the Defence Expo (DefExpo) India 2016 being held in Goa.
The CTC is an integrated training complex configured to improve operational preparedness in both conventional and asymmetric warfare scenarios, the company said in a statement.
"With the threat scenario varying from conventional to unconventional (counter insurgency and counter terrorism), there is a need globally for integrated training solutions which can cater to a range of scenarios concerning a specific region. It will be our endeavour to play a pivotal role in providing the required training tools to security forces to tackle and neutralise both external and internal threats," said Ashok Atluri, managing director of Zen Technologies.

The CTC can be customised and configured for specific needs of other combat units as well. For instance, a CTC for an armoured regiment would comprise tank basic and crew gunnery simulators, tank and B-vehicle driving simulators and armour combat training simulator for two-sided force-on-force tactical exercises, according to the company.
Zen Technologies has so far supplied over 450 simulators to more than 100 customers across all the three armed forces, state and central armed police forces of India and other countries.
Zen Technologies' scrip is currently trading at Rs 72.85, down 2.08%, over the previous close of Rs 74.40 a share.
