Jet Airways to pay second 25% instalment of September salary today

Jet Airways will pay second 25 per cent instalment of September salary to pilots, engineers and senior management on Friday.

The airline which has posted huge losses in successive quarters announced in September it will pay pilots, engineers and management in two equal instalments. However, the August salary was stretched to October and 25 per cent portion paid in the month. Similarly, September salaries too have been stretched. A 25 per cent instalment was paid last month.

The airline management said it is hopeful of overcoming these challenging times soon and said all possible efforts were being made to release the remaining amount at the earliest.
