4 Kerala hospitals go mercury-free

Toxics Link, a Delhi-based environmental non-profit organisation, in association with the Kerala-based Centre for Innovation in Science and Social Action (CISSA), has announced that four select hospitals in Kerala had successfully started implementing the mercury-free programme by phasing out mercury-based equipment.

These are Lakeshore Hospital and Research Centre in Kochi, Taluk Hospital, Parassala, Samad IVF Hospital and Jubilee Memorial Hospital, in Thiruvananthapuram.
