Andhra Pradesh governor, ESL Narasimhan, on Sunday accepted the resignations of home minister P Sabita Indra Reddy and roads and buildings minister Dharmana Prasada Rao.
The two senior members of the Kiran Kumar Reddy's Cabinet had tendered their resignations on May 20, after their names figured in the charge sheets filed by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), which is probing YSR Congress president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's disproportionate assets case.
It may be noted that the Congress high command had sent clear signals that they cannot continue in office after having been charge sheeted by the CBI.
