Mob ransacks DVC's Raghunathpur thermal power plant office
A mob of some 40-50 people today ransacked the administrative office of the Damodar Valley Corporation's under-construction thermal power plant at Raghunathpur in Purulia district.
An official of the company said that members of the "Bhumi Rakkha Committee", a Left-backed organisation mainly consisting of land-owners, barged into the site office of the project in the morning and ransacked it. "They also heckled our employees and officials present there.
