The Andhra Pradesh Non Gazetted Officers (NGOs) Association, which represents the government staff from coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema regions, on Monday decided to launch a strike once again from Thursday in protest against the AP Reorganisation Bill.
The association has chalked out an agitation programme, including strike, bandh and rallies at Delhi coinciding with the Parliament session and also timed it with the dates of possible introduction of the state bifurcation Bill in the House.
The scene has shifted to Delhi after the state legislative Assembly concluded the debate on the Bill on January 30. The state government sent all the documents containing the proceedings of the debate, views and suggestions of the members to Ministry of Home Affairs on Monday.
