The Odisha government has set a target to make Bhubaneswar completely Wi-Fi enabled by November 2018 as the state gears up to host the men’s Hockey World Cup-2018.
The sporting event is scheduled to be held from November 28 to December 16, 2018.
According to the decisions taken at a high-level meeting chaired by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, fibre optic network would be spread across the city and 1,800 Wi-Fi access points would be set up.
