CII demands clarity on Singur pact

Confederation of Indian Industry chief mentor Tarun Das has sought clarity on the agreement between agitators and West Bengal government on Tata’s Singur Nano project.

"It is not clear what this agreement actually means. Does it ensure the continued viabilty of the Nano project? Does it assure sustained peace to enable uninterrupted work in the long term? It would be helpful to get clarification on these issues", Das stated in a press release.
