Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Thursday chaired the 25th meeting of the goods and services tax (GST) Council, which recommended many relief measures regarding on several goods and services.
The much-talked-about demand for bringing petroleum products within the ambit of GST did not come up for discussion at the meeting today. The issues will be taken up at the next meeting, Jaitley said.
